E&P has a long history and unbeatable record in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), often simplistically seen as charity or philanthropy. E&P has expended hundreds of thousands of Ghana Cedis annually in Social and Environmental programs, disaster reliefs in support of critical government health and educational programs at both the community and national levels. Lisa, who once filled her home with laughter and light, is now battling stage 4 leukaemia, a life-threatening cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Desperation drove the family to social media, where they shared Lisa’s story in a heartfelt plea for help. The post quickly went viral, and the family’s prayers were answered when it reached the CEO of Engineers & Planners and Dzata Cement, Ibrahim Mahama. Known for his philanthropic efforts, Mr. Mahama has pledged to cover the entire cost of Lisa’s treatment, including airfare for Lisa, her mother, and auntie, as well as a medical doctor to South Africa. The Chief Executive Officer of Engineers & Planners and Dzata Cement, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama on Sunday, October 29, donated relief items to more victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage. The team representing Mr. Ibrahim Mahama was welcomed with a durbar by the Chiefs, Queen mothers, The MP’s, representatives of political parties and the good people of the affected communities. The durbar was held at the main Dambai Lorry station. Mr. Ibrahim Mahama’s donation is the biggest support yet from an individual or any institution to the displaced people some of whom are having to lodge in schools, tents, churches and mosques because their homes were massively flooded following the Akosombo Dam spillage. he Business Magnate and Dzata Cement delegated a team to donate the relief items to the affected communities. The items included 12,500 bags of 5kg rice, 18,000 cans of Mackerel, 9,000 bottles of cooking oil and 18,000 cans of tomato paste.

The Chief Executive Officer of Engineers & Planners Ltd and Dzata Cement Ltd, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama on Tuesday donated 500 bags of cement to the 1998 year group of the Presbyterian Senior High School, PRESEC -LEGON, after they reached out to him to support the school with 450 bags of cement, which is the total number of cement they needed for the project.
The donation is towards the building of the PRESEC Ceremonial Grounds Project, a Legacy Initiative by the 1998 Alumni. The donation was done on behalf of Mr. Ibrahim Mahama by his aide Rafik Mahama. The donation was done at the school premises, Accra -Legon.
Receiving the items on behalf of the School, the Headmaster expressed his gratitude to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama. Mr. David Odjidja indicated that he was excited after engagements with past students resulted in the quest to embark on the project. According to him, when the project is completed, it will serve a lot of purposes including the organisation of its worship services, entertainment among others. “When this (project) is done, it will be one of its kind in the country and probably beyond. So, we want to thank you for such a donation to the school, he said.
