Indigenous mining firm, Engineers & Planners Co. Ltd, has donated $5 million as the headline sponsor for Ghana's senior national football team, the Black Stars, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The announcement was made at a public fundraising event held on March 20, 2026 at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, Accra.

The donation was presented on behalf of the company by Director of Operations Biliguo Eric Adama and Special Aide to Mr Ibrahim Mahama, Rafik Mahama.

The support highlights the company's longstanding commitment to the development of sports in Ghana.
